DADDY COOL
In 1989 DADDY COOL began to consciously shape his living environment with the help of paint from an aerosol, inspired by street graffiti which at that time was seen only very occasionally. He made a living from contract work for many small and large companies and did freelance work in many different cities and countries, gaining experience with countless artists and mentalities.
In 1999 he founded the "getting-up" studio collective together with DAIM and TASEK. They were also responsible for the "Urban Discipline" exhibition and the Dockart Project in the Port of Hamburg. DADDY COOL gained an entry in the Guinness Book of Records in 2000 for the highest graffiti in the World and has since taken part in about 50 individual and group exhibitions. For 10 years he has also been working on a giant open-air gallery in the Karo and Schanze districts of Hamburg with several fully constructed house walls. In 2006 he founded the street art poster label "Six Fingers".
